[S2:E21] Your morning Goffy
Nick Goff returns for his monthly TLS column, with three bets and six points staked.

The end of October is always an interesting time on outright markets. We’re reaching the one-third mark of the season and starting to get a strong grip on who the best and worst sides are, who might be in false positions, either positively or negatively, and can compare that with the market’s expectations for those teams from here on.
We can say confidently now that Leeds and Birmingham are the best teams in the Championship and League One. That’s not to say they’ll definitely win the league, of course, lots can still change from here, and more importantly, the market hasn’t missed either. I make Leeds bang-on evens from here and the best price I can see anywhere is 19/20, so if you’re not on them already there’s no point now, even though they’re the best team. Fortunately, as regular readers of this column, you are on already.
If we know who are the best teams in the top two EFL leagues, who are the best on League 2? If you know, please tell me. But I’ll suggest you may have a hunch, or perhaps even a fairly strong view, but you don’t know. That’s because it seems very clear that there are six or seven sides that might be the best team now or could quickly develop into the best in the coming weeks.
