George puts up the final bets of TLS Season One.

Watching Josh Murphy score two goals for Oxford at Wembley on Saturday was as sweet as it gets for us Oxford fans, but there was the nagging worry in my mind that our best player was turning it on at the biggest stage towards the end of the season in front of many a watching eye.

It feels similar with Sir Nick Goff, whose bonus play-off column last week staked three points over five bets, which all won and returned just shy of 4.5pt profit.

Thankfully, unlike Murphy thus far, we’ve reached an agreement with Goffy that he’ll be continuing with us next season, so TLS fans can rest easy that we won’t see a long and emotional farewell written on ‘Notes’ and posted on his Instagram anytime soon.

Those winners take us to 130+ points profit for the season, and where else can we go to wrap up the last episode of Season 1 of TLS than the Championship Play-Off Final?

Don’t worry, Season 2 starts next Tuesday, and we’ll be publishing S2:E1 back-to-back with a full P/L update for Season 1. But first, let’s turn to our final bets.
