The ebbs and flows of a ten-month campaign ensure that some markets become more interesting than others at different times of the season. This month I’m going to concentrate on the top half finish markets in each of the three EFL leagues, because I think at the stage we’re at now, approaching the 2/3rds of the season mark, in each league, you have a group of teams almost certain to finish top half, another group who are very unlikely to do so, then a bunch in the middle, already pretty unlikely to go up or down.

Those are the teams we can look at most closely right now and try to take a view on whether the market is over or underestimating their chance of finishing 12th or above. So we’re going to have a bet on this market in all three divisions.
